Grundy County reports on absentee ballots for August 6 Primary Election

As of 11 a.m. on August 2, 140 absentee ballots for the August 6 Primary Election had been returned to the Grundy County Clerk’s Office. An additional 13 ballots had been requested but not yet returned.

The Grundy County Clerk’s Office will be open for absentee voting on August 3 from 8 a.m. to noon. In Livingston County, the Clerk’s Office will be open for absentee voting on the same day from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All county clerk offices will be open on August 5 until 5 p.m. to accommodate absentee voters.

Polls will be open on August 6 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the Primary Election.

Additionally, the Grundy County Commission is scheduled to meet on August 5 to set up election equipment.
