The Green Hills Regional Planning Commission has scheduled two distinct business-oriented meetings at the BTC Bank in Trenton. The first, a Lunch and Learn, focuses on strategies for retaining business clients and is slated for November 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The following day, November 8, at 1:30 p.m., a workshop will delve into securing a business’s future.

The Missouri Center for Employee Ownership is sponsoring the November 7 session. Participants will explore methods to retain clients, foster business growth, and enhance community wealth. The discussion will extend to exit planning and the facets of employee ownership. Complimentary lunch will be provided to attendees.

In contrast, the November 8 workshop, backed by Missouri Small Business Development Centers and the City of Kirksville, will address business succession options. It aims to guide business owners in identifying strategies for a smooth transition and clarify the subsequent steps for implementation.

Interested parties are asked to RSVP for the Lunch and Learn by November 1. Confirmation of attendance can be sent via email to [email protected]. Registration for the workshop on November 8 is required through the dedicated portal at this link.
