Beau Ann Graves, daughter of Preston and Samantha Graves, is the 2024 Grand Champion Market Steer exhibitor at the Missouri State Fair. Beau Ann is from Chillicothe and is a member of the Chillicothe FFA Chapter. Her prize-winning steer weighed 1,370 pounds.
The Reserve Grand Champion Market Steer honor went to Abagayle Britton, daughter of Bradley and Kristi Stout, and Brent and Jenna Britton. She is a member of the Saxony Lutheran FFA Chapter. Abagayle’s steer weighed 1,330 pounds.
On Saturday, August 17, Beau Ann and Abagayle will sell their steers in two of 12 lots offered in the Missouri State Fair Sale of Champions. Proceeds from the annual sale benefit both the winning exhibitors and the Missouri State Fair Youth in Agriculture (YIA) Scholarship Program.
