Governor Mike Parson has announced the appointment of Andrew J. Hardwick as the new Circuit Judge for Missouri’s 26th Judicial Circuit. Hardwick, a resident of Versailles, brings a strong academic and professional background to the bench.

Hardwick owns the Law Office of Andrew J. Hardwick, where he has built a notable legal career. He holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Fontbonne University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Columbia, and a Master of Science in biochemistry and biotechnology from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

The appointment comes as Hardwick prepares to fill the vacancy left by the Honorable Matthew P. Hamer, who was recently appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District. Hardwick had already secured his position by winning the primary election and is running unopposed in the upcoming general election.
