A Gallatin man has been charged with felony first-degree rape or attempted rape following an alleged incident on August 25.
Micah Samuel Ray, 30, was denied bond, according to online court records. The court also denied a request for a bond change on August 26. A bond hearing is scheduled for September 3.
A probable cause statement accuses Ray of restraining a woman while engaging in sexual intercourse with her. The statement indicates the woman told Ray to get off of her and expressed that she did not want to engage in sexual intercourse.
