The Gallatin R-5 Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 certified salary schedule during their meeting on July 18. This decision was made in conjunction with the Teacher Salary Grant.
The certified salary schedule, which includes the State Baseline Grant, ensures that contract salaries for various steps and education levels will be at least $40,000. The columns of the certified salary schedule funded by the State Baseline Grant are supported entirely by state appropriations.
Additionally, the board approved the finalization of the 2023-2024 end-of-year expenditures.
The board scheduled a tax rate hearing for August 15 at 5:45 p.m. The regular meeting will follow at 6 p.m. on the same day.
After a closed session, the board offered teaching positions to Jeromy Antle, Jacob Whetstone, and Shawna Hefley for the 2024-2025 school year. Trisha Adkison was offered the assistant varsity track coaching position for the upcoming school year.
