Free parenting classes will be held at the North Central Missouri Mental Health Center in Chillicothe in January and February.
The classes will be Tuesday mornings from 8 o’clock to 9:30 from January 21st to February 18th.
Topics will cover an introduction to parenting, protective factors, why children misbehave and what to do, magic, and a guide to children to problem solve and make decisions. Each class will include a video, handouts, and discussion.
Participants can pick and choose classes to suit their needs, and a certificate will be awarded upon completion. Those attending are asked to make their own arrangements for childcare for the classes January 21st through February 18th.
