A Trenton woman and young girl were involved in a single-vehicle accident early Thursday evening five miles south of Bethany.
Twenty-six-year-old Stacey Blackburn was northbound when the minivan went off the east side of Highway 13, returned to the road and she overcorrected, causing the car to go off the east side again and strike an embankment.
A four-year-old boy from Trenton received minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to the Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.
The vehicle was demolished and both the driver and passenger were using their seat belts.
