Daviess County Clerk encouraging voters to call for absentee ballots

Daviess County Clerk Ronetta Burton encourages county residents who want to vote in the General Municipal Election now scheduled for June 2nd to call her office to receive an absentee ballot. She says that way those residents may remain sheltered at home and still cast ballots.

Absentee voting will continue by mail until May 27th. It will continue by email or curbside at the Daviess County Courthouse in Gallatin until June 1st. People are only allowed into the Daviess County Courthouse by appointment. They must also pass a health screening and come through a security scanner.

Daviess County residents can contact the county clerk’s office to request an absentee ballot for the June 2nd election or for more information at 663-3300 extension 500.
