The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of a Chillicothe woman in Grundy County on August 15.
Angel Maureen Stewart, 52, was taken into custody on a capias warrant for an alleged probation violation. Stewart’s original charges include the felonies of first-degree property damage and resisting arrest, detention, or stop by fleeing, which created a substantial risk of serious injury or death to any person. Additionally, her original charges involve misdemeanors for driving while intoxicated and failing to stop at a stop sign, either at a stop line, before a crosswalk, or at the point nearest the intersection.
Stewart’s bond was set at $10,000 cash only. She is scheduled to appear in Division One of the Grundy County Circuit Court on September 12.
