The Chillicothe Police Department reported two arrests on Tuesday, August 21, 2024, stemming from separate incidents involving an active arrest warrant for a probation violation and a warrant for driving under the influence (DUI) with serious physical injury.
Officers arrested a 23-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation related to an original charge of possession of a controlled substance out of Vernon County, Nevada. The warrant was issued with no bond, requiring her transport to the Caldwell County Detention Center, where she will be held for extradition.
In a separate case, a 24-year-old man was arrested after surrendering himself to the Chillicothe Police Department on an active warrant for DUI involving serious physical injury, issued out of Livingston County. The warrant carried an Own Recognizance (OR) bond. The man was processed and released pending a new court appearance.
Authorities did not release the names of those arrested.
