Chillicothe Police arrest two suspects in separate drug and burglary incidents

On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, officers with the Chillicothe Police Department made arrests in two separate incidents. Their efforts resulted in the apprehension of a 22-year-old female for multiple drug-related offenses and a 32-year-old male on an active burglary warrant from Jackson County. 

Officers conducted a traffic stop at Third St. and Dickinson Ave. Officers requested the assistance of Cpt. Grider and K-9 Enoch. K-9 Enoch alerted to the presence of narcotics. Officers arrested a 22-year-old female for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated or drugged condition. The female was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center and placed on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.

Officers arrested a 32-year-old male on an active arrest warrant out of Jackson County, MO, for burglary in the 200 block of N. Washington St. The male was unable to post the required bond and was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center to be held pending extradition.
