Chillicothe library hosts storyteller Fran Stallings September 14

The Lillian DesMarias Youth Library in Chillicothe, in collaboration with the Farm Bureau, has announced a special storytelling event scheduled for next week. Renowned storyteller Fran Stallings will be at the library on September 14 at 10 a.m.

Fran Stallings, an American storyteller based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, is known for her engaging storytelling style that includes traditional folktales, science-based “eco-tales,” and original stories. Her storytelling expertise has taken her to festivals and conferences across the United States and internationally.

In addition to her appearance at the library, Stallings will speak at the Farm Bureau meeting on September 12. She is also set to visit Chillicothe Elementary School and several rural schools in the area on September 13, bringing her storytelling skills to a wider audience.
