Chillicothe firefighters used a water extinguisher to put out a fire late Friday night at the Debbie Jenkins residence at 1721 Boyd Street. A ventilation fan was placed at the front door to remove smoke from the house.
The Chillicothe Fire Department reported being dispatched to the residence for a fire in a bathroom. The fire was contained in one room of the house. Chillicothe firefighters were on the scene for approximately 37 minutes.
