The Mayor of Chillicothe, Missouri, is now accepting applications to fill three board vacancies. These positions will replace members with terms expiring on August 29, 2024, and each appointment will last for four years.
Board Openings and Meeting Schedules:
- Planning & Zoning Board: Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month as needed at 5:30 p.m. at Chillicothe City Hall, 715 Washington St., Chillicothe.
- Railroad Advisory Board: Meetings occur on the third Tuesday of February, May, August, and November at 5:15 p.m. at Chillicothe City Hall, 715 Washington St., Chillicothe.
- Chillicothe Housing Board: Meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November at 5 p.m. in the Housing Authority Community Office, 320 Park Lane, Chillicothe.
Interested parties can obtain a board volunteer form at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 715 Washington Street, Chillicothe, Missouri, or on the City’s website. The deadline to apply is Thursday, August 1, 2024, at noon.
