California woman life-flighted after crash in Worth County

A woman from Sacramento, California was injured Tuesday night when the car she was driving was in an accident on a Worth County highway.

The highway patrol reports 59-year-old Nola Olney was flown by a medical helicopter (Lifenet) to Mosiac Life Care in St. Joseph serious injuries.

Olney was eastbound when the car crossed the center line of Highway 46 and struck a concrete bridge rail.

The car was demolished in the crash about one and a half miles to the west of Grant City. The patrol reports she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
