A motorcycle accident on August 17, 2024, resulted in moderate injuries for a Brookfield, Missouri, man. The crash occurred at approximately 11:25 a.m. on NW 5th Street, 1.5 miles west of Trenton in Grundy County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tyrel W. Treat, 34, was driving a 2019 Honda 450 motorcycle westbound on NW 5th Street when he lost control on the gravel roadway. The motorcycle overturned onto its left side and skidded to a stop, facing west.
Treat, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, sustained moderate injuries. He was transported by Grundy County EMS to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment. The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene by a private vehicle.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene of the crash.
