Bond has been amended for a Kansas City man charged in Livingston County with resisting or interfering with an arrest for a felony following a pursuit New Year’s Eve.

Online court information shows the court amended Nathaniel Watkins’s bond to $25,000 cash only, 10% allowed, and all previous conditions remain. His bond was previously set at $7,500 cash only. The case was continued in the Associate Division of Livingston County Circuit Court to January 15th.

Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox previously reported he attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Watkins at Wheeling for allegedly having no license plate, but a high-speed chase ensued with the suspect vehicle traveling west in the eastbound lanes of U. S. Highway 36. The suspect vehicle allegedly “gave out” on LIV 273, and Watkins gave himself up.
