Bodyn Michael Jay Nickell obit photoAnd to think, the first thing he saw when his eyes opened was the face of Jesus on July 31st at 3:10 AM, our sweet Bodyn Michael Jay was born with his Angel wings.

Bodyn is survived by his parents: Wyatt and Catherine Nickell of Seymour, Iowa; his sister, Braesyn Nickell of the home; Grandparents, Toni Eaglen and Roy Richardson of Milan, Missouri, Jana Wyatt of Corydon, Iowa, Keith and Karla Nickell of Lineville, Iowa; Great Grandparents, Jim and Donna Fritts of Butler, Missouri, Linda Clark of Corydon, Iowa, Mike and Mary Richardson of Milan; Uncles, Bodie (Joana) Eaglen of Milan and Logan (Janet) Viers of Green City, Missouri; Aunts, Kaycee Trevino of Green City, Tadem Richardson of Milan, Gracee (Lester) Helmuth of Blakesburg, Iowa, Shyann (Jake) Swan of Norwalk, Iowa, Tyra Nickell of Charlotte, North Carolina; Godparents, Sabrina Ayers of Bucklin, Missouri and Connor Runyon of Corydon, Iowa; and many great Aunts, Uncles, and loving cousins.

Bodyn was preceded in death by an Uncle, Kevin Jacobs; Maternal Grandpa, Eldo Eaglen III; Maternal Great Grandparents, Eldo “Butch” and Cheryl Eaglen, and Debbie Fleener; Paternal Great Grandparents, Jay and Dorothy Nickell, Doyle Clark, and Doug Wyatt; and a cousin, Hanna Mariee.

A graveside service for Bodyn will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Lonesome Pine Cemetery, 45204 Liberty Road, Harris, Missouri 64645. Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan is handling arrangements. The family requests attendees not to wear black.
