Beverly Jean (Sidden) McDonnal, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri.
Beverly was born to Charles and Stella Faye (Gilliland) Sidden on December 28, 1941, in Mooresville, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Melvin H. McDonnal on July 12, 1959, in Mooresville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2011.
Beverly worked as a registered nurse for Hedrick Medical Center for many years, as well as for Liberty Hospital for several years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Chillicothe, Missouri.
Survivors include three sons: Jeff McDonnal of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; Charles McDonnal of St. Charles, Missouri; and Michael McDonnal of Overland Park, Kansas. She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Fifer of Brookfield, Missouri, and Marilyn Cox of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Sidden and Stella Faye Sidden; her husband, Melvin McDonnal; one granddaughter, Lauren McDonnal; one brother, Richard Sidden; and one sister, Margerite Smith.
A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
A private family inurnment will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Ludlow, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Kids With Cancer organization and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
