The 26th Annual Quilt Auction is set to take place in Jamesport this October, promising a colorful showcase of quilting artistry and community spirit. This year’s event, sponsored by the Jamesport Community Association, will feature a quilt show and an auction that invites quilting enthusiasts from across the region.

The quilt show will be held at the Spillman Event Center on October 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this time, attendees will have the opportunity to view an array of handcrafted quilts and vote for their favorites. The event is open to the public, encouraging everyone to participate in celebrating the craft of quilting.

On October 12, the event will continue with the much-anticipated quilt auction. Doors will open at 7 a.m., and the auction is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. The auction provides a unique opportunity for participants to acquire one-of-a-kind quilts while supporting local artisans and the Jamesport community.

In addition to the auction, there will be a quilt raffle. Tickets for the raffle will be available for purchase at the event, priced at $1 for a single ticket or $5 for a bundle of six. This raffle offers another chance for attendees to take home a beautiful quilted piece.
