A two-vehicle accident on Route K resulted in moderate injuries to a woman from Amazonia on Saturday evening. The crash occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m., north of St. Joseph.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2006 Pontiac Torrent, driven by Jennifer L. Hess, 45, was northbound on Route K when a southbound 2004 Ford Explorer on County Road 379 failed to stop at a stop sign.
