A Marshall resident was injured on Monday in a single-vehicle accident three miles south of Mendon in Chariton County.
Forty-seven-year-old Angela Luckett sought treatment for moderate injuries at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
The sports utility vehicle was southbound when it went off Highway 11 and struck a tree.
Extensive damage was noted to the SUV and Luckett was using a seat belt.
Assistance was provided by the Chariton County Sheriff’s Department and Chariton County Ambulance.
