$12,000 donation from Modine bolsters Bright Futures building fund

Modine of Trenton has generously donated $12,000 to Bright Futures Trenton, significantly advancing the organization’s efforts to secure a permanent facility for its operations.

The donation was announced by Bright Futures Advisory Board President Ryan Vandel, who expressed gratitude on behalf of the board. Vandel stated, “This generous donation from Modine will be a tremendous help to us in paying off the building loan and help keep our focus on serving Grundy County school children.”

Representatives from Modine present at the donation announcement included Miles Moore, Plant Manager; Stephanie Burnfin, Human Resources Manager; and Kimberly Mengel, Plant Finance Manager. Bright Futures Trenton was represented by Lynn Griffin, Ryan Vandel, Kara Helmandollar, Kayla Graham, and Chris Hoffman.

 

Modine donation to Bright Futures


In addition to Modine’s contribution, several other community members and organizations have recently donated to the Bright Futures Trenton Building Fund. These include Bruce and Ann Constant, Hodge Presbyterian Church, Doug and Angie Tye, Century 21, and the Wine and Wheels Car Show.

The Bright Futures Trenton Board has set a goal to raise $85,000. The funds will be used to cover the cost of the building, installing a bathroom, and purchasing storage and organization fixtures. As of now, the organization has achieved about one-third of its fundraising goal.
