The Pleasant View R-6 Board of Education held a special closed-session meeting on April 29, addressing several key personnel changes for the upcoming school year.
The board accepted the resignation of Jessica Romine, a second-grade teacher, effective at the end of this school year.
In addition, the board approved new appointments for the 2024-2025 academic year. Tristan Dugan of Trenton will join as a second-grade teacher. Chelsea Coe, also from Trenton, has been hired as a first-grade teacher. Missie Cotton, who is already serving in the position, was officially appointed as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher.
