Two Cameron residents received what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries when the SUV's they were driving collided with one another north of Cameron on Tuesday morning. Sixty-eight year old Judy Person was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Fifty-three year old Debra Whiteaker was taken by private vehicle to her doctor's office.
A Galt resident received what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries when a car hit the rear of a van in Milan on Tuesday morning. Forty-four year old Linda Dillon of Galt was to seek medical attention on her own. She was the driver of the car.

The Cainsville Lady Red beat the Lady Panthers of Grundy County High School on Monday night by a score of 7-2. The Livingston County Sheriff's Department says it is giving away an additional 100 gun locks and related informational pamphlets. Sheriff Steve Cox said the program, called "Project Gun Safe", is hoped to increase awareness of firearms safety and home safety.

Missouri tailback Henry Josey will not play this year after injuring his left knee in November against Texas. Tigers coach Gary Pinkel says Josey is expected to make a full recovery. He says he saw Josey running during practice Sunday.
