For the third consecutive year, America’s Farmers Grow CommunitiesSM, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, gives eligible farmers the opportunity to win a $2,500 donation to direct to their favorite local nonprofit organization. The testing location of the Gallatin Driver Examination Station will be affected by the election on Tuesday, November 6th. On that day, the Gallatin D.E. Station, located in the Daviess County Courthouse, will be closed.

A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for part of the Sullivan County Public Water Supply District. The advisory was issed following a Monday morning water main break.

The accidents involved a large truck colliding with a train near Chillicothe AND a large truck overturned in western Adair County. Both accidents resulted in the truck drivers taken to hospitals.

Among judging results at the national F-F-A Convention in Indianapolis, Princeton FFA Chapter had a team placed seventh in the country in evaluating livestock. Princeton had won first place in livestock judging during Missouri's FFA convention—thus qualifying the team for the national career development event.

The Trenton Lady Bulldogs, in a first round Class 2, District 14 match on Monday night in Higginsville, fell in straight sets to the Minutewomen of Lexington High School by a score of 25-20, 25-21.
