A Chillicothe woman is hospitalized in Kansas City following a roll-over accident Monday night in rural Livingston County. The Highway Patrol said 32 year old Amanda Robinson was SERIOUSLY injured, and flown by medical helicopter to St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza.

Ground will be broken in just a few months on the new walking trail and memorial garden at Wright Memorial Hospital and on Friday, employees of the local hospital were recognized for their support to the new construction.

A Unionville resident was hurt on Friday morning when the pickup truck he was driving overturned off Highway 136 west of Unionville. Eighteen-year old Richard Mendenhall was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia, with what the Highway Patrol called SERIOUS injuries.

Trenton High School senior Maddie Hooyman, a shortstop on the Lady Bulldog softball team, signed a national letter of intent to continue her career at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, in a Thursday morning ceremony at Trenton High School.

The University of Missouri has announced the official signing of North Mercer High School senior Sierra Michaelis to a national letter of intent. Michaelis, a 5'10” guard, is the 2012 Missouri Wendy's High School Heisman winner, and part of a three person recruiting class for head coach Robin Pingeton.

The PAR Broadcast Group now has the COMPLETE list of honorees in the Tri-Rivers Conference for the 2012 football season. A partial list was supplied, and read on the air yesterday. As expected, the two-time defending Tri-Rivers champion Milan Wildcats are strongly represented on the first-and-second teams, after a 10-1 season that included a 5-0 record in the conference.
