Thursday morning's snowstorm that rolled across northern Missouri CANCELLED all games scheduled for that day at the annual NCMC Holiday Hoops event. The games, including the Trenton girls against St. Joseph Lafayette, and the Chillicothe boys against Council Bluffs, Iowa, will NOT be made up. |

Automobile Accidents : Multi-vehicle crash injures Ludlow residents

Two residents of Ludlow were injured in an accident yesterday in Livingston County that involved their pickup and two tractor trailers. Taken to Hedrick Medical Center of Chillicothe were 21 year old Shawn Schuyler with minor injuries and 23 year old Samantha Schuyler with MODERATE injuries. |

A winter storm warning has been issued for 6 o'clock tonight (Wednesday night) until 12 noon on Thursday, for the threat and likelihood of snow and blowing snow across the NORTHERN portions of our listening area. This warning affects these counties: WORTH, GENTRY, HARRISON, MERCER, DEKALB, DAVIESS, AND GRUNDY]. This area is specifically, north of a line from St. Joseph to Kirksville. |

In Monday night basketball action from Hale High School, the Grundy R-5 boys picked up their THIRD win in a row, defeating the host Cardinals by a final score of 64-46. The Panthers had momentum coming into the win, with wins over Gilman City and Pattonsburg earning Grundy the consolation hardware at the HDC Conference's annual basketball tournament. |

Automobile Accidents : Saturday night accident injures Norborne teen

The Highway Patrol says a Norborne resident was hurt early Saturday night in southwestern Carroll County after failing to yield. Sixteen-year old Cody Wiesz of Norborne was taken to Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, with what the Highway Patrol described as MODERATE injuries. |

KTTN/KGOZ Sports : South Harrison Bulldogs win 2012 THS Wrestling Tournament

South Harrison won the Trenton High School Wrestling Tournament by 44 1/2 points over second-place Trenton on Saturday. South Harrison and Trenton each had three individual champions, but South Harrison's lead, and team win, was gained by the Bethany team having five runner-up finishers, compared to Trenton's two. South Harrison accumulated 178 points, Trenton 133 1/2, and third place Stanberry 109. Marceline had 99, Maryville 98, St. Joseph Central JV 78, Gallatin 75 1/2, South Holt 61, and Southwest Livingston 40. There also were a handful of JV wrestlers from Marceline, S.J. Central, and Trenton. |

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) has confirmed a photograph of a mountain lion taken December 12th by a trail camera on private land in DeKalb County, north of Cameron. |

Ketcham Community Center Manager Steve Ockenfels has announced hours of availability for the facility on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton. The hours pertain to those "wishing to exercise" during the next two weeks. |

Automobile Accidents : Weekend accident injures Milan brothers

Two Milan brothers were hurt north of Milan when, according to the Highway Patrol, a sport utility vehicle was hit in the rear by by a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup, 17-year old Marcus Harrison, and a passenger, 14-year old Michael Harrison, were taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital. The Patrol said they had minor injuries. |

The PAR Broadcast Group has been notified of an upcoming name change for Premium Standard Farms LLC of Princeton. A letter from General Manager Michael Rainwater reports the company will be changing its name to "Murphy Brown of Missouri LLC" by the end of this calendar year. The name change is described as "recognizing greater alignment with Murphy Brown LLC and Smithfield Foods Incorporated". |
