A Carroll County resident was injured early Sunday morning when the car he was driving overturned off Highway 24 east of Carrollton. Twenty-year old Chase Ewing of Bogard was taken to University Hospital in Columbia, with injuries described as MODERATE by the Highway Patrol.

Automobile Accidents : Carrollton woman injured after deer hits car

A Carrollton woman, 19-year old Hannah Davis, received minor injuries when her southbound car was struck in the side by a deer. The accident early on Tuesday evening was on Highway 65 in Carroll County, just north of Route J. The Highway Patrol said Ms. Davis was taken by ambulance to Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. Damage was minor to the car. The driver was using a seat belt.
