Health Advisories : Portion of Sullivan County, near Milan, placed under boil advisory

The Sullivan County Public Water Supply District has issued a precautionary boil advisory for customers along Route OO between Milan and Noble Road. Also included are Sullivan County Public Water Supply customers along Otter and Oxford Roads, Desert and Diamond Drives, and Daisy Drive, 1/2 mile north of Noland Road. The boil advisory for this area is effective for drinking and cooking water until further notice. |

Automobile Accidents : Truck overturns, injures Kidder man

A Kidder man was injured when the truck he was driving overturned northeast of Kearney on Wednesday morning. The Highway Patrol said 53-year old Tony Johnson of Kidder was taken to a Kansas City area hospital with SERIOUS injuries. |

Drivers of two vehicles were injured in an accident early on Tuesday afternoon three miles east of Chillicothe. The Highway Patrol described injuries as minor for 33-year old Lindsey Cranmer of Chillicothe and 22-year old Morgan Ireland of Dawn. Both were taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe. |

Two people from Marceline were injured on Wednesday night in a traffic accident three miles south of Moberly in Randolph County. As a result of the accident, blamed on ICY road conditions, 44-year old George Bailey and 38-year old Jennifer Bailey were taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center, with MODERATE injuries for GEORGE Bailey and minor injuries for Jennifer Bailey. |

Playing their first two games of a spring break road trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the North Central Missouri College baseball team split a pair of hard-fought, low-scoring games over the weekend. The Pirates beat Salem Community College 3-1, but fell in a 13 inning marathon to Lakeland Comunity College, 4-3. |

A Laredo resident was injured early Wednesday morning when the sport utility vehicle she was driving went off a snow-covered road north of Laredo and hit an embankment. Twenty-year old Jessica West was taken by private vehicle to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton. The Highway Patrol described her injuries as minor. |

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department reports a suspect was taken into custody after a short standoff at a residence near Dawn. Forty-year old Jeffrey Griffith of St. Joseph was wanted on THREE warrants. Those involve Resisting Arrest during an incident in February in Platte County, an Assault in Buchanan County, and Failure to Appear in Court in St. Joseph. |

A Cameron teenager was injured on Monday afternoon when, according to the Highway Patrol, he apparently drove his car into the side of a tractor-trailer unit one mile west of Cameron. Eighteen year old Kyle Hargrave received SERIOUS injuries. |

Trenton Police have arrested three suspects in connection with a recent burglary of a business in the north side of the city. Chief Tommy Wright reports three Trenton residents were taken into custody Tuesday on warrants involving burglary, attempted burglary, and stealing. |

The North Mercer senior class has done many remarkable things on the basketball court. For the Lady Cardinals, that list includes four straight HDC Conference regular season and tournament championships and four straight district titles, but until the last four days, one goal had eluded Mercer, that being a trip to the "Show-Me Showdown". On Saturday afternoon in St. Joseph, the Lady Cardinals knocked down that wall, stamping their ticket to Columbia. |
