A New Cambria resident was injured early Sunday morning when the pickup truck he was driving went off Highway 149 and hit a tree and fence near the north city limits of New Cambria. Twenty-four year old Michael Mallett was taken to University Hospital in Columbia (by helicopter), with injuries described as MODERATE by the Highway Patrol.
A Chillicothe woman is hospitalized in Kansas City following a roll-over accident Monday night in rural Livingston County. The Highway Patrol said 32 year old Amanda Robinson was SERIOUSLY injured, and flown by medical helicopter to St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza.

T-H-S is described as being one of ten so called “break-through” schools in the NATION to receive the distinction from the Met LifeFoundation and National Association of Secondary School Principals.
