News : Prisoner Mistakenly Released From Daviess/Dekalb County Jail

Nineteen-year old Donald Jordan Bigby of Illinois was arrested, earlier this year, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged felony forgery, with bond at $5,000. On Monday, September 9th he was extradited to the Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail in Pattonsburg.

The Missouri Attorney General's Office says 33-year old Kenneth Shumate of Unionville has been sentenced to three life sentences, plus 55 years, for three counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree, six counts of statutory sodomy in the second degree, two counts of statutory rape in the second degree, and one count of sexual exploitation of a child.

Accidents : Bolivar Physician Sentenced For Illegally Distributing Prescription Drugs

Nolan Denny Crisp, 76, of Halfway, Mo., was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Brian C. Wimes on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, to two years in federal prison without parole. The court also ordered Crisp to pay a $10,000 fine.
